In our 60-minute 1:1 call, I'll help you:

Before our call
I’ll send you a questionnaire with some prep questions to bring me up to speed so we can hit the ground running.
During our 60-minute call
We’ll talk through your questions, and I’ll have a lot of additional questions as we dig into the details of what’s got you stuck and brainstorm solutions. My goal is to give you information, clarity, and practical action steps for the best way to move forward with your project.
After our call
You're welcome to record the session, so you can re-listen later when you need it. Additional follow-up calls are also available at a discounted rate if you want to check in with me again later.
One small assumption on a renovation can easily turn into a five-figure surprise. Set against that, an hour of experienced judgment is a drop in the bucket.
And if you don't leave feeling better informed and prepared to manage your project, I'll refund the call.

Isn't this what I'm already paying my contractor for?
Contractors are doers: they’re great at bringing whatever’s on paper to life, coordinating trades, things like that. But they aren’t typically space planners. I can help you step back, look at the whole space, and decide how it should function, what may be possible, and which direction makes the most sense. That gives you a clear roadmap before you get pulled into construction details — or invest in a plan that won’t deliver the result you actually need.
Because contractors are builders first and project managers second, in my experience that means the schedule and the decision-making can feel ad-hoc and last-minute to you, their client. If that’s what’s happening on your project, it can be helpful to have an outside perspective on what to expect and what you should be planning for.
My project is small and I’m DIYing / not hiring a contractor. Is this for me?
Definitely! If you’re managing everything from start to finish and DIYing some or all of the work, this is a great, budget-friendly way to make sure you’ve thought everything through and anticipated any potential issues in advance.
What should I prepare beforehand?
Once you’ve booked your call, my team will send you a form where you can share more information on what you’d like to discuss. Please fill this out completely! The more details you provide, the more valuable our time together will be. If you have drawings, plans, quotes, or photos, you can upload those too.
I'm not in British Columbia. Can you still help me?
Yes! I won't be able to speak to your local building code or costs, but I can speak to the principles of how to plan a project, how to set and manage your budget, and what you need to know about residential construction as a homeowner.
Can I book more time with you?
Yes. A follow-up call is $200, less than a second full consult because I’m up to speed on your project. We can discuss this more on your call if that’s of interest to you.
